A Health Coach is a supportive mentor and wellness authority who works with clients to help them feel their best through food and lifestyle changes. Instead of prescribing one diet or way of exercising, Health Coaches tailor individualized wellness programs to meet their clients' needs.
Relationships, exercise, career, and spirituality are just as important to your health as the food you eat. Health Coaches understand this and take a holistic approach to supporting the whole person. Find out how health coaching stacks up against other health and wellness jobs.

If you're anything like me drinking plain water day to day gets boring. It is now the middle of summer when berries , citrus and herbs are in full stock at the farmers markets and grocery stores. Infusions are by far some of my favorite ways to get my ounces of water in for the day. Two of my favorites are Lemon Rosemary and Orange Mint. Of course organic produce is essential since they will be floating in the water. A glass pitcher, carafe or mason jar are perfect for these infusions. I do not recommend plastic containers, since the citrus oils can eventually breakdown the plastic. The basic recipe that I follow is:
2 cups of boiling water. Let the herb steep for 5 minutes (1 sprig of rosemary or 5 mint leaves). Add the herb and steeped water to the glass container with the citrus fruit.
I usually use one half of the citrus fruit in which you can squeeze the juice out or just throw them in.
Fill with filtered water to top it off.
Let it cool for a bit in the refrigerator. Add ice if you don't want to wait.
That's it! Enjoy
